Open Position: Social Media Manager

Overview:

Copow Foods is seeking a hands on, detail driven Social Media Manager to run the daily operations of our social channels. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and performance tracking across all major platforms. You'll work closely with our creative team, content strategist, and marketing leads to bring our brand to life online in a way that's consistent, vibrant, and aligned with our audience.

Responsibilities:

Content Management

Own and maintain the content calendar across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)

Upload, schedule, and publish posts, including reels, stories, carousels, and static images

Collaborate with creative team to request, review, and optimize assets for social use

Write captions and post copy aligned with brand voice, tone, and goals

Ensure content aligns with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and other key initiatives

Community Management

Monitor DMs, comments, and tags daily; respond promptly and in-brand

Escalate customer service inquiries to the appropriate team

Engage with community posts and partners to foster brand loyalty and visibility

Proactively look for brand mentions and UGC opportunities

Strategy Support

Provide real-time insights from the community and performance data to inform content decisions

Stay current with trends, memes, and platform updates to keep our content culturally relevant

Support campaign rollouts and influencer/partner collaborations with social amplification

Performance + Reporting

Track and report on KPIs weekly and monthly (engagement, reach, follower growth, etc.)

Use analytics to identify high-performing content and areas for optimization

Recommend adjustments to posting cadence, content types, or platform strategy as needed

Requirements:

Exceptionally organized and responsive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines — must be comfortable pivoting quickly, responding promptly to texts and emails, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

2+ years managing social media accounts for a brand or agency

Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills

Familiarity with tools like Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar

Experience with Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or other content tools is a plus

Solid understanding of the social media landscape, especially Instagram and TikTok

Understanding of health foods culture (no seed oils, grass fed meats, organic, etc.)

Nice to Have:

Experience in early-stage startup or CPG brands

Knowledge of SEO and CRM marketing crossover

Experience with AI tools ChatGPT, Veed, Opus, or similar
